Sound Sensor Module (LM393 with Microphone)
Features:
- Uses LM393 comparator with a polarized microphone
- Operating voltage: DC 4–6 V
- Onboard signal indicator LED
- Single digital output channel
- Output signal is LOW level when sound is detected
- When sound is present, the LED turns on and the output goes LOW
Applications:
- Voice-activated lighting
- Sound-and-light alarm systems (when combined with a light sensor)
- Voice control projects
- General sound detection applications
Arduino Connection:
- Connect +5V to Arduino 5V
- Connect GND to Arduino GND
- Connect OUT to Arduino digital pin 2
