Arduino Shield - LCD 2x16 Keypad Shield

This popular LCD Keypad Shield for Arduino boards features a 16×2 character LCD display and integrated momentary push buttons, making it ideal for creating simple user interfaces. The LCD uses digital pins 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, while Analog Pin A0 is used to read the button inputs.

The shield supports LCD contrast adjustment and backlight on/off control, and it also expands the available analog pins for easier sensor reading and data display.

Designed for Arduino-compatible boards, the LCD Keypad Shield provides a user-friendly interface for menu navigation, selections, and basic control systems. It includes a 1602 LCD with white characters and a blue backlight. The keypad features five buttons: Select, Up, Right, Down, and Left. To conserve digital I/O pins, all buttons are read through a single ADC channel using a five-level voltage divider.
